Houston Highlights

Houston, as Hayden experienced it-

The hotel elevator was the best!

I don't know what the big deal about this house was, but I cooperated and took a picture.

We got all dressed up for something, but I wasn't that into it and instead just liked taking walks with Uncle Jerry and visiting the Fire House.

There was this really cool train that went around a tree that I got to play with.

They made me take part of a last minute late night craft project! No fun!!

I didn't have to walk anywhere!

We went to the Houston Space Center and walked around the Rocket park - I liked the grass.

So this NASA place did have a few neat displays that I checked out.

Uncle Mark's Wedding

On Christmas afternoon we boarded a plane headed for Houston. Uncle Mark was getting married in a few days and we weren't going to miss it, so we managed our way through crowds and weather to attend a great event! The wedding was beautiful and we are so happy to welcome Aunt Nicole into our family. Hayden wasn't always in the best of health for the trip, but he was a trooper yet again and made it through the trip with only 2 bruises on his face. :-)

Hayden and his new friend Uncle Jerry. This is how Hayden spent most of the ceremony- entertained by the local League City Fire House. Sorry Uncle Mark and Aunt Nicole - I'm sure you understand.

Hayden with Mom and Uncle Mark. Hayden was a little under the weather at this point so for give the lack of excitement in his face.

3 Weeks of Christmas

Yes, you read that correctly- 3 weeks. That is what it was like at our house this year. With all of the extra things going on this year like a wedding and traveling, Christmas this year was 5 different events. It was nice, but tiring. It truly was a season of giving! Here are a few pictures from a few of those events.

Sometimes the bag is just as cool as the gift in side of it!

Hayden's big gift reveal. We all pitched in and got him his very own train table. Grandpa & Dad even spent all afternoon putting it together for him.
No he is not spoiled if that is what you are thinking... :-) He loved it and enjoys spending a little time everyday hitting the tracks.

Uncle Neil learning the joy of toy packaging. We left it up to the engineer to do the complicated stuff. Now we just have to teach Hayden some patience.
